Jazz in the Gardens is a MUST DO every year!
For a mere $40 plus parking, you can catch a lineup of good artists and musicians for an ole fashioned good time at this outdoor event sponsored by the City of Miami Gardens. Each passing year brings a bigger turnout. Be prepared to be there from 4:00pm to midnight. However, there are vendors, food, and drinks to keep you occupied. Ever get a chance to hear Spafford run through almost an hour worth of songs? The good news is that there can be downtime between musical acts. Ever see Robin Thicke rap along to 'A Millie' by Lil Wayne? A great time for adults and couples!!!! The vibe is very care-free and relaxed. Cons: weather? Food and drinks are pricey...cigarette and weed smoke. It's also a great people watching opportunity.
